APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR INDEPENDENT MEMBER OF SETTLEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Applications are invited from eligible individuals to work as External Independent member of Zonal Level Settlement Advisory Committee of the Bank. The interested persons should be

1. 1.Retired High Court Judge
2. 2.Retired District Judge
3. 3.Retired Additional District Judge

• The applicant should be residing at Lucknow for easy availability. The initial selection shall be for a period of one year which can be further extended after review by competent authority.
• The selection will be based on the profile of the applicant in the sequence of preference mentioned above. The Decision of the Field General Manager will be final in this regard.
• Honorarium for Rs 15000/- per sitting/meeting will be paid to the selected applicant/member.

Scope of Work:

1. 1.The Settlement Advisory Committee is to examine the compromise/relief/write off proposals and ensure that settlement offer is fair, reasonable and in line with the guidelines for settlement of such proposals contained in the Bank’s Policy.
2. 2.The holding committee meeting will depend upon the flow of the settlement proposals. If it is not possible to call meeting of the committee for any reason, the proposal may be examined through circulation.
3. 3.The committee will append its recommendations to the proposals by way of Annexure

The duly filled in “Expression of Interest in prescribed format”, attached as annexure “A” alongwith Non Disclosure Agreement attached as Annexure-B with the documents for retirement from Judiciary services to confirm the eligibility criteria to be submitted latest by  21.09.2022 (Wednessday) before 5:00 pm either electronically on crd.fgmolucknow@unionbankofindia.bank and fgm.lucknow@unionbankofindia.bank or physically at the following address:-
