Eligibility

1. Tourist Guides recognized/approved/registered by Ministry of Tourism and State Governments/Union Territory Administrations.
2. Tourism stakeholders recognized/ approved/registered by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
3. Eligible borrowers can avail of assistance either under ECLGS or under LGSCATSS. If the eligible borrower has already availed benefit under ECLGS 1.0 or 1.0 (Extension) or 3.0 or 3.0 (Extension), in such cases, due under ECLGS to be closed/paid off before applying for coverage under LGSCATSS scheme.
4. Similarly, if an eligible borrower has availed assistance under LGSCATSS, then due under LGSCATSS to be closed/paid off before applying for coverage under ECLGS.
5. Borrowers having banking relationship with other bank(s) are not eligible for finance under the scheme. Such borrowers to apply for need based credit facilities with the existing banks. However, Individuals/Entities not having borrowing relationship with any scheduled commercial banks are eligible for finance under the scheme.
6. Credit rating of the account should be between CR-1/UBI-1 to CR-5/UBI- 5 or minimum credit scoring of 60% to remain eligible under the scheme.

Purpose

To provide relief to eligible Travel & Tourism Stakeholder viz. by way of need based financial assistance who have been adversely impacted by the Covid -
19 pandemic to discharge liabilities and restart their businesses.

Maximum of Rs 10.00 lakh each in case of Travel & Tourism Stakeholders and
Maximum of Rs 1.00 lakh each in case of Tourist Guides.

Repayment

Maximum of 5 years from the date of first disbursement including moratorium period of 1 year on the principal repayment. (Interest to be paid as and when
debited even during the moratorium period)

EBLR + 1.00%, with upper cap of 7.95% p.a.

9.

Security

Primary: All assets created out of Bank’s finance shall be charged in favour of Bank and also on behalf of NCGTC by way of Hypothecation etc.

Collateral Security: Nil.

10.

Guarantee

The loans sanctioned under the subject scheme shall be covered under Loan Guarantee Scheme for Covid Affected Tourism Service Sector [LGSCATSS] of NCGTC with 100% guarantee coverage.
Personal Guarantee of Individual, all partners in their individual capacities in case of finance to partnership firms, Directors / Trustees/ members in
case of finance to Ltd Company / Trust / Society.

Validity of the scheme

Loans under the subject scheme can be sanctioned till 31.03.2023 or till
guarantees for an amount of Rs.250 crore are issued under LGSCATSS by NCGTC.
