GOODS & SERVICES TAX (GST)

Goods & Service tax (GST) introduced from 1st July 2017 will be a game changing reform for Indian economy by developing a common Indian market and reducing the cascading effect of tax on the cost of goods and services.

Goods & Service tax (GST) is a single, national and uniform tax, which is levied across the country on all goods and services replacing various Central & State govt. taxes like Central Excise, Service Tax, Central Sales Tax, Value added Tax, Octroi, Luxury Tax, etc.

Our Bank has been authorized by Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) for collection of GST through various modes ( offline / online ) on a pan India basis. E focal point branch, New Delhi is the Nodal branch for GST collections

All the branches of the Bank are authorized for GST collections through GSTN menu. Please note that customer has to visit GSTN website https://www.gst.gov.in for generation of the GST challan and thereafter the Challan can be produced at branches to be processed through GSTN menu.

B. Internet Banking

Retail users.
Corporate users (maker / checker).

Any UBI customer having internet banking facility can pay GST by using their retail / corporate internet banking user Ids. Please note that customer has to visit GSTN website https://www.gst.gov.in for generation of the GST challan and thereafter online GST payment can be done by selecting Union Bank Internet Banking
