Donation of an Ambulance to SDMH hospital , Jaipur
Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT), as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated an Ambulance to "SDMH" hospital, one of the prestigious Hospitals at Jaipur to cater the patients.
The keys of the Ambulance was handed over by Shri Nidhu Saxena , Vice Chairman of UBSFT & Executive Director, Union Bank of India to Dr G N Gupta Medical Director SDMH on the 13.8.2022. Present on the occasion were Shri Vipan Singh, FGM Jaipur , Shri Mayank Bhardvaj RH Jaipur & other officials from Union Bank of India , Shri Thomus, Chief Administrative Officer & Shri Mahesh Sogani FA from SDMH.The event was very well appreciated and acknowledged by all the stake holders.
Donation of one 33 seater camp van and one X-ray machine with digital upgrade kit
Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT), as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated one X-ray machine with digital upgrade kit & one 33 seater camp van to Tirumalai Medical Mission hospital, Ranipet, Tamilnadu.
The X-ray machine was delivered & installed at the said hospital. The camp van was handed over to the said hospital authorities by Ms. A Manimekhalai, MD & CEO of Union Bank of India on the 12.8.2022. Present on the occasion were Mr.Anand Parthasarathy, CEO and Mrs. Bhooma Parthsarathy, director Thirumalai Charity Trust, Mr. Vishweshwaran, FGM, Chennai & Mr. Chezhaian N, Regional Head, Chennai (South) & other senior officials of Union Bank of India.
Donation of Oxygen Generator Plant.
Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT),as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated an Oxygen Generator Plant at Community Health Centre, Mulki, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka.
The Oxygen Generator Plant was delivered and installed at the Community Health Centre, Mulki .Present on the occasion on 11th March,2022 were Mr. J Mahesha , Regional Head, Union Bank of India ,RO Mangalore, Dr. Krishna , Community Health Centre, Mulki & Ms. Shathi, Staff Nurse, Community Health Centre, Mulki.
Donation of Ultrasound Doppler Machine
Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT) ,as a part of it’s commitment towards improving health infrastructure in the country, donated an Ultrasound Doppler Machine to King George Hospital, Visakhapatnam. The Ultrasound Doppler Machine was handed over to the King George Hospital & the same was placed in the Radiology Department of the Hospital. The machine was inaugurated at an event organised on the 8 th March, 2022 by Shri K.S.D Siva Vara Prasad, Field General Manager, Visakhapatnam. Present on the occasion were Arvind Kumar, Regional Head, RO, Viskhapatnam, Dr. P. Mydhili, Superintendent of King George Hospital and Dr.P.Bujji Babu, Head of the Radiology department, KGH.

The high capacity plant which is equipped to provide uninterrupted oxygen support to patients was inaugurated on 16th October, 2021 by Shri. Rajkiran Rai G, the chairman of the Foundation & Managing director & CEO of Union Bank of India . Present on the occasion were Shri. Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT), as a part of it’s commitment towards providing of quality & modernized education environment to the college students, majority of whom are coming from socially & economically weaker sections of the society, extended financial support towards providing of modern infrastructure in the conference hall at Government First Grade College, Hebri, Udupi district, Karnataka.
The fully furnished conference hall of the college was inaugurated Shri Rajkiran Rai G. the Chairman of UBSFT & Managing Director & CEO, Union Bank of India on the 14.5.2022. Donation of High End Research Equipments.
Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT) ,as a part of it’s commitment towards improving research facilities in the country, donated a unit of an Analyzer Model BELSORP MINI X and an unit of Thermo Scientific Heratherm OMS 180 General Protocol Ovens to St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.
The above research equipments were handed over to the St. Aloysius College & the same were installed in the research lab of the College. Present on the occasion on 11th March,2022 were Mr. J Mahesha , Regional Head, Union Bank of India, RO Mangalore, Dr. Praveen Martis SJ and Professor Mr. Ronold Nazerath from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.
Union Bank Social Foundation has undertaken creational training program “Pragna plus” for children of 4 schools at Ahmedabad and 1 school at Varanasi for 4 years. Recently the project was visited by Dist. Govt. Authorities and appreciated a lot for the program.

Donation given to Akshaya Patra foundation Ahmedabad
A brand-new custom-built food distribution vehicle was handed over to Akshaya Patra Foundation by Ms. A. Manimekhalai, MD & CEO of Union Bank of India on the 12.6.2023 for supporting food distribution under mid-day meals scheme to students of Government /aided schools at Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad.
Donation towards renovation of Vriddhashram
Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT), as a part of it’s commitment towards community development donated amount towards renovation of the Rajkiya Vriddhashram, Varanasi.
The donation amount was handed over to the said Vriddhashram by Ms. A Manimekhalai, MD & CEO of Union Bank of India on the 18.8.2022. Donation of food delivery vehicles for mid meal scheme.
Union Bank Social Foundation (UBSFT), as a part of it’s commitment towards community welfare in the country, donated two food delivery vehicles to Akshaya Patra Foundation, Bengaluru for their mid day meal scheme at Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh.
The keys of the food delivery vehicles were handed over by Shri Nitesh Ranjan, Vice Chairman of UBSFT & Executive Director, Union Bank of India to officials of the Akshaya Patra Foundation on the 15.5.2022. The mini bus was handed over to the Shraddha Foundation by Shri Ramakanta Pradhan, Field General Manager, Bhubaneswar at an event organised on the 5th February, 2022. A Free Vaccination Drive for downtrodden People was organised on 17.09.2021 by Regional office, Jaipur. More than 50 beneficiaries were vaccinated during this Camp. The payment of vaccination was done through “e-Rupee Prepaid UPI Vouchers, an initiative launched by our H’ble Prime Minister on 2nd August 2021 for promoting Digitalization. The occasion was graced by the presence of Shri Yogendra Kumar Singh ,Field General Manager, Jaipur Zone, Shri Omprakash Karwa, Regional Head, Jaipur, Shri D N Gupta, Dy Regional Head and Ms Shikha Agarwal, Dy Regional Head Jaipur.
The e-RUPI is a cashless prepaid Voucher and contactless instrument for digital payment launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on August 2, 2021. It connects the sponsors of the service with the beneficiaries and service providers in a digital manner without any physical interface as well as without the involvement of any intermediary. By using the e-RUPI digital payment platform, Union Bank of India was the first Public Sector Bank to conduct COVID 19 vaccination Drive on August 7,2021 at Thane District, for the benefit of the under privileged and around 100 people were vaccinated through e-RUPI in a transparent and effective manner. Senior Executives of the Bank viz. Shri Venkatesh M, General Manager (CC), Shri. Vivek Kamath, CEO , Union Bank Social Foundation Trust, Shri. Rajiv Mishra, Field General Manager, Mumbai and Smt. Renu Nair, Regional Head, Regional Office, Thane graced the occasion.
Union Bank Social Foundation Trust (UBSFT) has constructed a digital room & provided required infrastructure in the college run by Mahayogi Guru Goraknath Shiksha Samiti, at Bithyani, Pauri Gadhwal, Uttarakhand. The inauguration was done by Shri. Yogi Aditynath, the honourable Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh on the 19th February,2021. Shri. Trivendra Singh Rawat, the honourable Chief minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Rajkiran Rai G, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Union Bank of India, and Shri. Rajiv Mishra, Filed General Manager, Union Bank, Lucknow were present on the occasion.

Union Bank Social Foundation Trust (UBSFT) in association with Rotary Club of Mumbai Queen City Foundation (RCMQF) has constructed toilet blocks & bath rooms for the benefit of girl students studying in 3 schools viz. 1. Adarsh Vidyalaya Utawali, 2. B.L.Shingada Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Poshori and 3. Government Higher Secondary Boarding school, Pali in Palghar district , Maharashtra State. Shri. Vivek Kamath, CEO, Union Bank Social Foundation, Shri Mukesh Bharti Sharma, Regional Head, RO, Mumbai- Borivali, & Rotarians of RCMQF were present on the occasion of inauguration function held on the 15th July, 2021.
UBSFT has helped in construction of more than 500 individual/ community toilets within which 83 sets of toilets have been constructed in Girls schools. Seen in the picture some of the completed toilet.
UBSFT has also constructed community toilet on Bandra (West) Mumbai Railway station with a child care unit inaugurated by Shri Ashish Shelar MLA Bandra (W). The facility is used by large number of commuters every day.

On the 6th May, 2022 valedictory program for the women’s tailoring batch with batch size of 33 was conducted at Union RSETI Atkur. During the occasion training certificates along with tailoring machines (generously donated by TANA foundation) were distributed to the 33 trained candidates.
