Application for U Genius 3.0 National Level General Awareness Quiz Competition 2024

As you are aware, Union Bank of India is one of India’s leading public sector banks. Founded in 1919, it is headquartered at Mumbai with a pan-India presence. To encourage learning amongst the young generation, Union Bank of India is proudly hosting “U Genius 3.0 National Level General Awareness Quiz Competition 2024”. We are privileged to reach out to you and invite the students of your esteemed institution for the Quiz competition.

The venue and date of the event will be informed in due course, as the Quiz Competition will be held in different phases and the winner of City Rounds will proceed to the Zonal Round /National level Semi-Final and Final, which will take place in Mumbai during Nov, 2024.

We believe that this kind of event will definitely help your beloved students to gain more knowledge, confidence and become achievers in life. The participating school teams will get mementos, appreciation certificates and various prizes. The winning school team will get attractive prize money and a trophy to encourage students to diligently follow the passion of learning.

The prize details are as under:

1. Final Winner Team Cash Prize: Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh only) Trophies and Certificates
2. First Runner-up Team Cash Prize: Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) Trophies and Certificates
3. Second Runner-up Team Cash Prize: Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) Trophies and Certificates
4. Semi-finalist Trophies and Certificates
5. City Finalist Trophies and Participation Certificates
6. City Prelims. Certificates of Participation and Appreciation

*Applicable TDS will be deducted (if any).

U Genius 3.0 National Level General Awareness Quiz Competition 2024 rules are as under:

i. Each team shall comprise Two Students from the institution.
ii. A maximum of Four Teams of Two Students each (Total Eight Students) from each institution can participate in the contest.
iii. There shall be a preliminary round for the competition, based on which top teams will be selected for the City Final Round. Only one team from one institution will be selected to the city final round. The City Final winning team will proceed further to the Zonal Round, where the top 2 teams from each zone will advance to the National Semi-Final. The National Semi-Final winning teams will then compete in the National Final.
iv. Participants should bring their school photo identity cards/bonafide certificate from the school with photograph.
v. Quiz Master’s decision is final, and no discussion/correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
vi. The teams should make their own arrangements for travel and stay.
vii. The Preliminary Round shall commence at the city level and the teams which are registering shall be permitted to participate in the competition.
viii. The teams have been called for the Quiz competition on the basis of the entry form submitted by the head of the institution. If it is found at any stage that there is misrepresentation of any of the facts/information, the candidature of the teams will be liable to be cancelled. The format for Quiz registration is enclosed herewith. The same can be handed over in person.
