In the beginning most of the Indian banks were lacking service, when compared to Multinational Banks. As a result most of the NRI business was controlled by Foreign Banks. But since last few year, Indian banks have improved their customer relationship and specially Union Bank of India, NRI branch is even one step ahead of most of the Foreign Banks. As such, as far as possible I give this bank a first preference for my deposits.
BELIEVE IT OR NOT!, when our beloved Smt. Indira Gandi was Prime Minister, India needed foreign exchange funds for development of the Country.
