| What is the purpose of Union Bhumiheen Green Card? |
| |
| Union Bhumiheen Green Card helps provide hassle-free and adequate credit i.e. working capital and term loan to tenant farmers/oral lessees/ sharecroppers/landless labourers etc. having no land in their names. |

| Eligibility:- |
| |
- Tenant farmers/oral lessees/ sharecroppers who are tilling agriculture land of others otherwise eligible for short term credit for raising crops.
- Agricultural laborers/landless laborers who get income from working in farms of others and engaged in various allied agricultural activities.
- SHGs/JLGs of oral lessees/tenant farmers/ sharecroppers.

- Maximum of Rs 25,000/- including 10% contingency limit per borrower.
- In case of group/JLG/SHG the quantum will be decided on the size of group.

| |
- Hypothecation of standing and harvested crops.
- Hypothecation of assets created out of Bank finance/milch cattle etc.
- In case of JLG/SHGs, documents prescribed for such financing.

| Repayment Period:- |
| |
| Though Union Bhumiheen Green Card will be issued for three years, the working capital limit for production shall be renewed annually. No crop loan should remain outstanding for more than 12 months. The term loan for other than crop loan purposes will be repayable as per other schemes, subject to maximum period of 5 years. The contingency limit of 10% shall be treated as working capital term loan limit and will be reviewed along with it. |

| Insurance:- |
| |
- Crops in notified areas under Crop Insurance Scheme will be insured.
- All other assets/cattles created out of Bank finance to be insured as per the Bank clause.
- The insurance premium to be borne by the borrower wholly.

| 1. What projects are eligible for the scheme? |
- Purchase of seeds, manures, fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides, labour payment charges, hiring charges for tractor, irrigation, electricity, etc. and all other charges for raising crops.
- Purchasing feed/fodder for milch/draught animals or poultry birds and amount incurred on treatment and rearing of animals, etc.
- Purchase of productive farm assets/milch animals/bullocks/ agriculture implements, etc.
- Contingency limit at 10% of the limit sanctioned or maximum Rs.2, 500/- whichever is lower, within overall limit of Rs.25, 000/-.

| 2. How many installments are available for loan disbursement? |
| |
| Disbursement will be made in two to three parts after ensuring end-use. |
