Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI)   The income generation schemes of Governments at the rural place wither away since the rural folks are not nurtured properly to harness their entrepreneurial skills or life skills plus they do not have the financial backup to sustain the enterprise they undertake. To provide guidance with the entrepreneurial and life skills to these youths our Bank has established Rural Development and Self Employment training Institutes (RUDSETIs) at our 14 Lead Districts through which the bank provides training to rural youths and self help groups in income generating entrepreneurial skills and life skills. These training are provided free of cost, even lodging is arranged for those who come from far of Places. After the training these pupils are followed up with for settlement through government schemes and direct bank finances and with nearby companies for wage employment. The RUDSETIs also work along with the VKCs for training the VKC command area rural youth.

1. What is the objective of establishing RSETIs? To train rural population entrepreneurial skills and offer them financially to make them self employed.   2. What kind of training is given in RSETIs? Various kinds of entrepreneurial skills like PC repairing, Tailoring, Cycle repairing, TV repairing, Knitting, cooking etc are taught in RSETIs.
